A Different Angel on Advertising

For more than six months, countless attractive advertisement for Faulkner Shoes have on display in public locations all over the country. This in (4)………. is a typical form of sales promotion. (5)………. the ads resemble normal billboards,their location makes them noticeably unique. Rather than looking up over streets and highways to view these ads, people are looking donw towards their feet. For this compaign, B&R Advertising strategically placed the ads on floors so people can see them while walking through train stations and airports.

Rexford Canal to Open Again

Built in 1921, the Rexford Canal is one of the oldest landmarks in the province. However, as the number of trucks, trains and airplanes increased,the canal was used less and lessto transport goods. In facet, the last time the canal was used was in 1959.
However, if you feel the canal is still useless, you are gravely (7)……….. Yesterday, a spokeperson for the Darthmouth Provincial Government announced that the canal will soon be reopened for the purpose of conducting boat tours to various tourist spots throughout the region. Responsibility for upgrading the canal has been allocated to Velmont Construction. This company (8)………. in restoring landmarks including canals, bridges and old buildings.
Mr. Roland Watts, Velmont’s founder and president, welcomed the (9)……….. He added that the most difficult task will be identifying exact spots where concretehas decayed so much that it must be replaced.
