Dear Mr. Maher:
You currently have an overdue bill for services rendered on the afternoon of April 2 when we delivered an item from your home on Wilson Street to the Wibur Construction Company on Emery Street in Layton.
The invoice number is 130-0994 and the total cost is $135.60. You can pay either via a bank transfer to Crimson Bank account number 807-1899-0452 or by sending a check made out to Zippy Courier at the address provided in the letterhead.
We would like to remind you that, if this bill is not settled by April 30, a late charge of $25.00 will be applied, which means that the total will be $160.60. Please confirm that you have read and agree to the terms in this letter immediately by e-mailing me at jpierce@zippycour.com. Be sure to include the invoice number in the subject line. Alternatively, you may phone my office at (305) 2304-7500.
We would appreciate your prompt reply.

Dear Ms. Pierce
Thank you very much for your letter concerning my payment. I did mail a check to Zippy Courier on April 4, but yesterday it came back to me because I made a mistake with the mailing address.
I apologize for this delay. I have no problem with Zippy’s service and intend to pay the full amount this week to avoid paying the extra $25.00. In fact, I have other business at the local branch of Crimson Bank tomorrow so I will be sure to transter payment then. Could you please confirm that you receive it by responding to this e-mail?
Also, I would like to receive an official receipt by regular mail. However, please note that I moved last Wednesday and, while zip code and city remains unchanged, the new street address is 424 Elmcroft Lane. Please be sure to change your records accordingly.
Sincerely yours,
Derrick Maher

Subject: Latest presentation and upcoming workshop
I am very happy to report that I just received a phone call from Donald Fuller at Fuller Data informing that this company has decided to purchase our latest software package, Rockhard. Apparently, Mr. Fuller and his research team were very impressed with the demonstration provided last Thursday by two of our sales representatives, Ellen Clifton and Peter Davenport.
Also, I have been asked by the vice-president to inform you of a series of workshops by Melissa Gilbert on giving effective presentations. Melissa Gilbert, as you all know, provides sales consulting services to highly successful companies like Laxco Electronics and Superstar Energy. Therefore, we would like all sales staff to participate in the first afternoon session included in the attached schedule. We will give all sales staff the afternoon off on that day to attend. Also, the costs of registration will be covered by Marsden. Simply keep your receipts and give them to David Campell in the finance office.
If you would like to attend other sessions, please see me at least one week before the workshop is scheduled to take place. However, please aware that Marsden will only reimburse you for the first afternoon session.
Sincerely,
Michelle Pineault, Director of Sales
Marsden Software
