Questions 1-2 are about the following e-mail.

    Dear Mr. Andrews, 

    I am very sorry but I will not be able to attend class on next Wednesday and Friday. As you know, I am on the school boxing team and I have been chosen by Coach McMahon to represent our school at the state boxing finals.

    I was wondering if you could give me my assignments in advance for the week. I've been enjoying what we've been working on a lot and really do not want to get behind. The tournament will be in Andover beginning on the 27th. I will also be staying in a hotel and training for two days before the competition. Hopefully I'll have some extra time to work.

    Anyway, I am very excited to represent our school. The coach thinks that I have the potential to take fast place in my weight class, and I hope it's possible! Just as importantly, hope you'll be willing to give me the work in advance so I can do well at the competition AND in school.
