Questions 1-4 refer to the following part of a student's journal.

(1).... April now, I'm happy to see spring here in Ohio. My French exchange student came last week. Her name is Mathide and we've talked about a lot of things so far. She says every dinner is better with bread (2).... on the table. I suppose that it is the French way! (3).... to school yesterday, Mathilde told me that she used to take the city bus every morning. Wow! It makes me wish I lives in a big city. (4).... I live in a small town, there is no way I could take a bus like that!
