Questions 1-4 are about the following passage.

William the Conqueror was a great warrior and king of England, known for his victories in battle. However, one of the most interesting things about him is not his life, but his death. William is known to have been a very heavy man with a large belly. During one of his sieges in the year 1087, he fell off his horse and was very badly hurt when his stomach hit his saddle.

As a result of these injuries, William died and was to be buried in a stone tomb. All of the family and friends of the king were taking care of his property, and were not able to plan his funeral. A knight took care of the king's body and made sure that it was taken to the church where it was to be buried.

However, at the same time as the funeral, there was a fire within the town. Everyone left immediately to put the fire out and save the town. As all of this was going on, William's body sat in the hot sun for a long time. The heat made his body get even bigger. Later, when they tried to put him into the tomb, his body would not fit. The people who were burying him pushed him into the tomb so tightly that his stomach burst, spraying everyone with fluid.
