Questions 1-3 are about the following story.

Every year, on the 1st of November, my mother asks me what I want for Christmas. This year I told her, "I want the new Rendla video game." Rendla, The Adventure Through Time was the game of the year. Everyone wanted it. I waited patiently for Christmas to arrive.

Bright and early Christmas morning I went straight to the tree to open all my presents. I opened everything but my video game was not there. I was really sad. It was the only thing I really wanted.

I tried to put on a brave face and thank my family for all my other great presents, but they knew I was disappointed. I thought I was going to cry. I ran up to my room so no one would see the tears in my eyes.

To my surprise, there was a gift sitting on my bed. I tore the wrapping paper off the tiny box. It was Rendla! I ran back downstairs and hugged my mom. I was the happiest boy in the world.
