Many people believe that alligators and crocodiles are the same animals with two different names, but this isn't true. These two animals (1)... as one. First, people (4).... to recognize the different shapes of their snouts. The crocodile has a narrow V-shaped snout, while the alligator has a wider V-shaped snout.
